Welcome to the blog page of Kinmylies Primary School Parent Council!
The Kinmylies Parent Council consists of several members who are all parents of children who attend the school. The Parent Council works in close partnership with the school & teachers to provide support and fund raising activities for improvements within the school, including school facilities and equipment. In recent times, we have raised significant funds for “Project Playzone”, which includes the fantastic playground trim trail, football goals, play tyres, rustic seating, orchard, outdoor classroom, and multiple items of playground equipment and educational equipment. We also work in partnership with local councillors to promote the interests of the school and gain support for fund raising, school facility improvements, and health & safety initiatives.

Newcomers are always welcome at our meetings – dates are advertised in advance on this Blog and in the School Newsletter. We would like to invite any parent or carer who would be interested in joining the parent council to get in contact with any current member or by contacting the school secretary. The parent council have made a significant contribution to improvements within the school over the last few years and we would love to have your help in continuing this great work.
