Reminder of our Digital Information Event

BEFORE THE FUN QUIZ AFTERNOON WITH OUR PARENT COUNCIL THERE WILL BE A DIGITAL INFORMATION EVENT FOR FAMILIES.
All details below

Dear Parents and Guardians,
We would like to invite all families to a Digital Information Event on Friday 8th March from 11am – 12pm in Kinmylies Primary School.
The aim of this event is to inform and update our families of our recent changes to policies and practise of Digital Technology and Safety. We will also aim to relaunch the Safer Schools App as an information and education tool within this session.
This will be a fun, relaxed and informative session that will be led by our Digital Leaders alongside myself, where families will be able to ask questions and seek advice as necessary.
There will be tea and coffee and maybe even a biscuit or 2 and we would love to see you there.

Thanks

Mrs Munro and our Digital Leaders

Safer Internet Day from our Digital Leaders

It was Safer Internet Day this Tuesday and our Digital Leaders were out and about in the community spreading the message about being safe online. They created posters and shared these to local businesses, our Community Complex and Charleston Academy. The group will end the week presenting to our whole school in assembly spreading their online safety tips.

Well done guys

Mrs Munro

RRS Bake Sale

Last Thursday, we had the most incredible turnout for our fundraising bake sale. The families of Kinmylies Primary were so generous and kind, providing amazing donations and sending in pennies so that the pupils could buy tasty treats. Even our fabulous kitchen staff helped to provide baking too. All staff were on hand to help out, which the RRS group are so thankful for. We have raised a total of £500, which will be used to buy equipment for break and lunchtimes for the whole school to enjoy. The RRS group will be coming round all classes to ask for ideas and opinions on what they would like to see most.

Thanks again to everyone!

RRS Bake Sale

The Rights Respecting School group want to say a massive thank you to each and every you for all of the incredible donations of baking today and for coming along to buy tasty treats. We cannot believe the turnout today. We haven’t counted up the pennies but hope to have raised enough to be able to let everyone choose some fun resources for break and lunch times.

We have got quite a number of cakes left so if anyone would like to buy a cake at break time tomorrow, they can take in 20p and go to the hall. Primary 7 pupils will be there to help.

A huge thanks again to all of our wonderful pupils and families. We can’t thank you enough!
